Data Scientist – Conversational AI | San Francisco (On-site)

The Role
As a Data Scientist, you’ll apply deep technical rigor to how data is analyzed, tested, and applied across the business. You’ll design experiments, apply advanced statistical methods, and build scalable analytical frameworks that guide key decisions across Engineering and Product teams.
You’ll help define how we measure, experiment, and reason about data at scale—driving an experimentation culture that’s central to the company’s mission.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on user behavior, product performance, and business outcomes to uncover actionable insights.
- Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and controlled experiments.
- Enhance company-wide data models, metrics, and dashboards for scalable reporting.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to embed data-driven decision making into development cycles.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and tools to support self-serve analytics.
- Communicate findings clearly to cross-functional teams and executives, influencing strategic direction.
- Evaluate and interpret ML model performance and business implications.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in data science or product analytics roles.
- Strong skills in SQL, Python, statistics, and experimental design.
- Proven experience designing and running experiments at scale.
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to influence decisions.
- Familiarity with evaluating machine learning models a plus.
