Job Description
We are seeking a Data Science Business Analyst for a hybrid role that combines data science, business process management, and project management. This position involves extracting data insights to optimize business processes and leading data-driven initiatives from start to finish.
Primary Objective:
- Extract data insights to optimize business processes and lead data-driven projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Analysis & Modeling
- Collect, clean, and prepare large datasets for analysis.
- Develop statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics.
- Create data visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
2. Business Process Optimization
- Analyze current business processes to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
- Design and implement process improvements, workflow optimization, and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new data-driven solutions.
3. Project Management
- Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Manage project execution, track progress, and mitigate potential risks.
- Lead project teams through the entire data analysis lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications
A. Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Confluence.
- Expertise in machine learning, statistics, and data mining.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
B. Business Acumen
- Strong understanding of business operations, KPIs, and strategic goals.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and Agile methodologies.
C. General Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education & Experience
- Education: Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field (required).
Experience:
- Proven experience in data analysis, modeling, and visualization.
- Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of business process management methodologies.
