Backend Software Engineer - Digital Money & Global Payments
Location: New York (Hybrid)
Compensation: $150K - $200K

Backend Software Engineer to join us at the cutting edge intersection of real-world payments and digital money, where you will deliver massive impact at a small, quickly growing company.
You will be a critical part of defining our technical and product roadmap, operating within an open and flat structure where you have the freedom to explore ideas and influence the company's vision. You will focus on scaling our infrastructure to handle millions of end-users globally while driving key architectural decisions for our rapidly evolving product.
What You'll Do:
- Core Development: Contribute directly to our backend and integrate a variety of complex third-party services
 - Scalability: Rapidly ship new capabilities to customers and scale our infrastructure to support millions of end-users globally
 - Architecture: Help drive critical architectural decisions for our rapidly evolving product stack
 - Blockchain Integration: Interact with smart contracts across multiple chains to bridge real-world payments and digital money
 
Requirements
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with Node.js and other backend technologies
 - Builder Mentality: A strong desire to build and experiment, evidenced by involvement in side projects or a history of rapid execution
 - Domain Interest: A genuine interest in the crypto space (either "crypto maxi or crypto curious")
 
Nice-to-Haves (But Not Mandatory):
- Fintech Experience: Prior experience in the fintech sector (neobank or card issuing experience is a plus)
 - Smart Contracts: Direct experience working with smart contracts
