This position is responsible for planning and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Specializes in complex reporting designs for GPO business units and corporate reporting needs. Works with Manager, to determine the report training needs of reporting team. Assists or is responsible for the creation of technical design. Tests applications and assists in the implementation of new systems or updates to existing systems.
Responsibilities:

Utilizes various reporting tools to develop Gross Profit Operations (GPO) reports that transform data into information upon which management can base strategic decisions and improve operational efficiency.

Provides accurate and timely delivery of reporting requests and related services that result in efficiency gains for end-users. Maintains flexibility in schedule to accommodate user needs. Outputs will vary based on business needs ranging from simple tailoring of current report formats to electronic data interchange requirements that meet reporting needs.

Consults with business unit management and personnel to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, data scope, usage, formatting, and security requirements.

Develops and maintains easy to use dashboards, portals and self-service reports that retrieve to data.

Gathers information on issues, utilizes problem solving ability to provide solutions, meets deadlines and provides general support to meet user’s needs.

Analyzes business processes to improve efficiencies for reporting needs.

Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures.

Consults with business unit management and personnel to obtain additional information during system development and evaluate alternatives.

Tests applications and report while assisting in the implementation of new systems or updates to existing systems. Can involve design and research for new applications and/or processes.

Collaborates with internal personnel to improve processes, implement changes to processes or programs to maximize efficiency.

Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures.
Qualifications:
-
Associate's degree (A.A.) from two-year College or technical school is required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

One to Three years of related experience and/or training is required.
-
Experience with FOCUS and/or WebFOCUS is required.
-
Power Apps experience is preferred.
-
SQL database experience is preferred.
-
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals.

Ability to understand advanced mathematical concepts including statistical analysis. Ability to develop measurable and quantifiable solutions using percentages, ratios, and proportions.

Excellent communication, writing and high levels of demonstrated customer service skills.

Possess originality, ingenuity, aptitude, and strong knowledge of GPE systems in order to complete moderately complex assignments, effectively analyze problems and generate working solutions.
