ADP is hiring an Insurance Services – Sr. Service Business Analyst
In this role, you will manage medium to large technical programs and develop business requirements for initiatives and projects within the business unit. As a Service Business Analyst, you will work with various teams to implement initiatives, ensuring business goals are met on time. Leveraging your knowledge of ADP products and business functions, you will contribute to the development and implementation of new or revised products, programs, and procedures. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will act as a liaison between technical, development, and business teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, develop project plans, and implement new programs.
What you’ll do: Responsibilities
What you can expect on a typical day:
User Requirements Gathering
- Conducts discussions with SMEs, stakeholders, and associates to research, gather, and document user requirements for projects or programs.
Business Needs Identification & Implementation
- Identifies business needs and contributes to the implementation of new or revised ADP products, programs, and operating systems.
- Collaborates with business partners to develop plans and procedures to address business needs.
Liaison & Collaboration
- Acts as a liaison between technical, development, and business teams to gather, analyze, and develop business requirements.
- Works with IT on approved requirements to create Functional Specs and test scripts.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitors and reports project status to stakeholders, identifying any issues that may delay deliverables.
- Analyzes the success of project rollouts and monitors ongoing progress.
Knowledge Maintenance & Success Criteria Development
- Maintains knowledge of products and procedures through participation in focus groups and consultations.
- Participates in developing success criteria for projects or programs.
Additional Responsibilities
- Performs other related duties, including program release testing, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements
- At least 3-4 years of experience in a customer service/implementation/operations environment
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and collaborate with team members.
- Interest in technology and emerging technologies such as A.I
- Ability to consistently deliver quality service when dealing with multiple, high-priority issues.
- Organizational skills and ability to work under the pressure of time constraints and to prioritize stakeholder issues.
- Client Service orientation, effective interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships, set proper expectations and exercise sound judgment is critical.
Bonus points for these: Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent in education and experience.
Proven proficiency and in-depth knowledge of Small Business Services - Insurance Services products and system platforms:
- Agile, SCRUM, Kanban Frameworks
- SQL,Python,Databricks
- Change Management Methodologies such as ADKAR
- Software defect tracking systems (JIRA or ServiceNow)
- O365 Business Automation
Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is USD $59,100.00 - USD $120,200.00 / Year*
