Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure management, is seeking a Data Center Building Engineer to join their team. As a Data Center Building Engineer, you will be part of the operations team supporting the maintenance and reliability of essential data center systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining critical infrastructure, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance on all building systems to ensure 100% uptime, including fire/life safety, HVAC, chillers, CRAC units, plumbing, and controls.
- Manage electrical systems such as UPS, generators, switchgear, and power distribution units, ensuring continuous operation and quick troubleshooting.
- Monitor refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; adjust and record readings to optimize performance.
- Analyze system operations, identify malfunctions, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Adhere to safety policies, including hazardous material handling, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
What's Needed?
- At least 2+ years of experience working in a data center or critical facility environment.
- Experience with building systems such as UPS, emergency generators, and switchgear.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer applications including MS Office, Google Suite, and CMMS.
- Ability to work physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing stairs, and working at heights.
