Position Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and creative Data Analyst with a strong foundation in SQL, Power BI, and ETL processes to join a growing analytics team. This individual will transform complex datasets into actionable insights through effective data visualization, modeling, and reporting. Experience with Alteryx or similar ETL tools is preferred, and familiarity with mapping analytics is a plus.

Key Responsibilities Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources. Design and build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to support business decision-making. Utilize Alteryx or similar tools to create and automate ETL workflows for data preparation and transformation. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions. Identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems. Apply creative problem-solving and data storytelling to deliver actionable business insights. Perform geographic or mapping analytics to support location-based initiatives (preferred). Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications Proven experience writing advanced SQL queries across large, complex datasets. Proficiency in Power BI with a demonstrated portfolio of dashboards and analytical reports. Hands-on experience with Alteryx or comparable ETL tools. Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices. Experience with mapping analytics tools or spatial data preferred. Analytical mindset with a passion for uncovering patterns, trends, and insights. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
