We are expanding our acquisitions and marketing operations — and are looking for a Lead Data Mining & Web Scraping Engineer to help us build a high-performance, automated lead generation system.
The Role
You will be responsible for identifying and gathering high-quality, motivated seller leads using web scraping, data mining, and automation techniques. These leads will power our acquisitions team and future nationwide marketing campaigns.
This position also comes with a unique long-term opportunity:
Once our lead generation system proves successful, we plan to launch a national lead generation and marketing agency serving hundreds of real estate investors and agents across the U.S. The person in this role will have the chance to lead and scale that agency alongside the Home Offer 365 leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated web scraping systems to gather real estate leads (e.g., distressed, pre-foreclosure, tax delinquent, behind on payments, divorce, inherited, etc.)
- Identify and extract data from real estate listing platforms, public records, social media, and niche data sources
- Build, clean, and maintain databases with accurate and verified contact information
- Collaborate with acquisitions and marketing teams to refine lead targeting and improve conversion rates
- Implement lead automation workflows and integrate with CRMs (e.g., Podio, HubSpot)
- Analyze lead quality and performance metrics to improve results
Requirements
- Proven experience in data mining, web scraping, and lead generation (Python, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, etc.)
- Familiarity with APIs, automation tools, and data enrichment platforms (PhantomBuster, Apollo, Clearbit, etc.)
- Understanding of U.S. property data, homeowner records, and real estate data sources
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven, organized, and capable of working independently
- (Preferred) Experience in real estate data, marketing automation, or property investment
