Infosys is seeking an AI Engineer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the AI Solution Development Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, data preparation, model design, and deployment. You will play an important role in creating high-level solution architectures, developing and optimizing machine learning models, and ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality code and model artifacts, leading validation for all types of testing (functional, performance, and accuracy), and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.

Experience in MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow) and Python.
Location for this position is Austin, TX. This position requires travel and/or relocation to project/client location.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong in AI/ML engineering or related roles.
At least 2 years of experience in MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow).
At least 2 years of experience in Python and ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, XGBoost.
Experience with prompt engineering tools and frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI API, Hugging Face Transformers.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
Familiarity with data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Spark.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Design, develop, and deploy robust machine learning models for classification, regression, recommendation systems, and time-series forecasting.
Lead prompt engineering efforts for generative AI models (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini), optimizing prompts for performance, relevance, and safety.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into ML and AI solutions.
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and model training workflows.
Implement MLOps practices for continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of ML models.
Fine-tune pre-trained models using transfer learning and domain adaptation techniques.
Develop reusable ML components and prompt templates for scalable deployment.
Stay current with emerging trends in AI/ML and apply innovations to business problems
Experience with LLMs, prompt tuning, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
Knowledge of vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate).
Familiarity with chain-of-thought prompting, in-context learning, or multi-agent pipelines
Familiarity with MCP and A2A
Experience in building and deploying chatbots, virtual assistants, or AI copilots.
Exposure to Responsible AI principles and bias mitigation techniques.
Domain experience in retail, sales, supply chain or customer analytics.
