As the Analytics Engineer on the Experiences team, you will leverage analytical expertise to create dashboards, develop insightful reports, build advanced analytical models, and uncover trends for Netflix House locations (visitation, attendance, Fan behavior, and satisfaction). Your work will directly inform executive decision-making as well as optimization and re-forecasting processes in order to enhance fan and House employee experience.
What You Will Do
- Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to visitation, attendance, fan satisfaction, and employee engagement
- Analyze trends in Fan behavior, including time spent, arrival and departure patterns, interactions with different Netflix IPs and spaces, and preferences for retail and F&B offerings
- Build a tracking system to continuously monitor marketing performance against established revenue and sales targets.
- Translate complex data by identifying and sharing actionable insights derived from other operational and financial modeling work across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set and optimize Netflix House operating hours based on data-driven insights
- Build and refine forecasting models to support re-forecasting and strategic planning across operations and marketing
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to provide actionable recommendations for optimizing products, offerings, and Fan experiences
- Support the identification and tracking of KPIs that answer key business questions and inform future initiatives
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear, compelling visualizations and presentations
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging analytics trends to continuously improve analytics capabilities
- Promote and foster a mindset of continuous innovation for internal teams and external partners
What We Need From You
- A degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or similar), and 4+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, analytics engineering, or a similar data field.
- Advanced SQL skills, with experience working in complex data environments.
- Experience with scripting languages, particularly Python..
- Strong experience with Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Data Studio/Looker Studio) for reporting and visualization.
- Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Plotly) and a strong ability to communicate data-driven stories.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with guest or customer satisfaction analytics, forecasting, and operational optimization is highly desirable
- Experience in retail, entertainment, or hospitality sectors is a plus
- Strong desire to think outside the box and innovate
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $170,000 - $720,000.
