Job Summary
We’re hiring an Analytics Engineer, a data-powered problem solver who bridges the gap between business needs and analytical systems. You’ll be the first line of insight generation: rapidly answering business questions, prototyping tools, and enabling stakeholders through AI-assisted self-service and scalable solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on quick iterations, sharp analysis, and automating away repetitive work.
Responsibilities
Ad-Hoc Analysis with Impact
- Partner directly with stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Finance, and Ops to answer pressing questions.
- Use advanced SQL and analytical thinking to turn ambiguity into answers fast.
- Develop quick prototypes (dashboards, reports, notebooks) that guide business decisions.
Operationalize & Automate Insights
- Build lightweight, scalable solutions like recurring dashboards, alerts, and data monitors.
- Create and manage AI copilots or agents to enable business users to self-serve insights via natural language.
Accelerate Self-Service
- Curate datasets and build semantic layers that allow repeatable, self-serve exploration.
- Maintain documentation and usage examples that teach others how to use available data effectively.
Collaborate Across the Stack
- Work with data engineers to identify gaps in raw data or modeling.
- Influence data architecture and metric definitions by bringing real user needs to the table.
Take Ownership of Business Reporting
- Own and maintain existing business-critical reports across departments.
- Ensure reports are accurate, trusted, and evolve with changing business logic.
- Identify and retire unused or duplicative reports to streamline the analytics ecosystem.
Tools You’ll Use
- GenAI Agents: ChatGPT, Google ADK Agents, OpenAI Assistants etc.
- Scripting: Python for notebook-based analysis and Agent development
- SQL (AWS Athena, Databricks, MySQL, etc.)
- dbt (light usage) to prototype transformations or clean-up logic
- BI Tools: AWS QuickSight, Tableau, Looker etc.
You Might Be a Great Fit If You:
- Are a fast, structured thinker who loves solving puzzles and surfacing insights.
- Love automating and scaling up repeatable work.
- Can write clear, performant SQL that answers questions and leaves a trail for others.
- Enjoy building bots or lightweight apps that make data easier to use.
- Thrive in fast-moving environments and know how to balance rigor with speed.
- Are as comfortable explaining a metric to a VP as you are editing a dbt model or writing a ChatGPT prompt.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years’ experience in data roles (e.g. analyst, BI engineer, analytics engineer)
- Experience with AI tools, copilots, or scripting for automation is a strong plus
- Fluency in SQL and experience with BI/reporting tools
- Strong grasp of business fundamentals and metrics-driven thinking
- Prior exposure to dbt or light transformation logic preferred
What We Offer:

- 401(k) with 5% employer match
- Exceptional health insurance benefits with minimal out of pocket expenses
- Fitness subsidy
- Free in-office lunches and snacks
- Autonomous work environment
- Amazing customer-driven culture
- Ability to build products that make a difference in people’s lives
