We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a background in data collection, data management, research methods, and/or health information analysis and presentation. This position will be in the Office of Epidemiology and will be an integral part of the HIV surveillance team.
The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
Responsibilities - What you’ll do
- Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of HIV surveillance data
- Respond to internal and external data requests
- Prepare summary data reports for various audiences
- Analyze HIV surveillance data to identify patterns, trends and emerging issues
Qualifications - All you need for success
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-4 years of relevant experience (Substitutions may be allowed)
- SAS proficiency preferred
- Experience with other programming languages (R, python) and data visulation software (Tableau) a plus
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
