To support our growth, we’re looking for a detail-obsessed Data Analyst to ensure our internal data is complete, accurate, and trustworthy. This is a great opportunity for someone with a sharp analytical mindset who’s eager to dive into complex datasets and partner closely with business leaders.
Your mission is to ensure the data that powers Highwire — from customer renewal rates and campaign performance to financial reports — is accurate, complete, and decision-ready. You’ll own the end-to-end accuracy of key datasets, work closely with Product and Engineering to resolve bugs and gaps at the source, and deliver clean, reliable data and reporting to teams across the business.
-
Deliver clean, trusted data. You’ll ensure that the data used across Finance, Product, Sales, and Engineering is accurate and reliable, enabling fast and confident decision-making and reducing rework and second-guessing.
-
Identify and fix root-cause issues. You’ll proactively identify bugs, inconsistencies, or oddities in the data that powers our reports, and collaborate with Engineering and Product to determine the root cause of the issue.
-
Enable real-time reporting. Department heads will rely on you for recurring and ad-hoc reports that are both timely and accurate. You’ll build reports that scale as our teams grow.
-
Continuously improve data quality. You won’t wait for others to flag data issues. Instead, you’ll take initiative to audit, investigate, and improve datasets before problems reach stakeholders.
-
Detail-oriented. You notice inconsistencies that others miss and take pride in spotting the one broken row in a dataset of thousands.
-
Owner’s mindset. You feel a strong sense of responsibility for the quality of your work and the integrity of the data others rely on. If it’s broken, you’ll fix it.
-
Adaptable. You’re comfortable working with imperfect or incomplete data, and you adjust quickly to changing product requirements or business needs.
-
Analytical. You excel at analyzing large datasets, identifying patterns and anomalies, and transforming complex or ambiguous information into actionable insights.
-
Proactive collaborator. You don’t wait for someone else to raise a flag; you pull in the right people to get the right answer, fast.
This is an ideal role for someone with a background in data analysis, reporting in Excel or Google Sheets, or operational support — especially if you’re excited to work closely with business leaders in a highly collaborative environment. Experience with SQL is a strong plus, but not required.
Attention to detail is a critical competency for success in this Data Analyst role. To help us identify candidates who read thoroughly, you’ll see a mystery question during the application process. The correct answer is: attention to detail.
