Duties
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications using technologies such as JavaScript, React, Express, and Ruby on Rails.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs to enable efficient communication between front-end interfaces and back-end services.
- Develop responsive user interfaces with modern front-end frameworks like React, ensuring optimal user experience across devices.
- Implement server-side logic using languages such as Python, Java, C#, or C++, integrating with databases like MySQL or SQL Server for data management.
- Manage application deployment and infrastructure on cloud platforms including AWS and Azure, utilizing tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git for version control and collaboration.
- Optimize application performance through code reviews, testing, debugging, and refactoring in an Agile development environment.
- Ensure security best practices are followed by implementing RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and other security protocols to safeguard sensitive data.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of codebases, APIs, and deployment procedures to facilitate team knowledge sharing.
- Participate in sprint planning sessions, stand-ups, and retrospectives to continuously improve development workflows.
Requirements
- Proven experience in full-stack software development with proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or C++.
- Strong knowledge of front-end development frameworks such as React or similar libraries for building engaging user interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with back-end frameworks like Ruby on Rails or .NET for application logic implementation.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design principles and integration techniques for seamless service communication.
- Experience working with cloud services such as AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications.
- Proficiency with version control systems including GitHub and SVN to manage code repositories effectively.
- Solid understanding of database management using MySQL or SQL Server; experience with SQL query optimization is a plus.
- Knowledge of Linux-based environments for application deployment and maintenance.
- Ability to work within Agile methodologies to deliver iterative improvements efficiently.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure components relevant to web development projects.
- Exposure to application security practices including RBAC implementation to control user access levels.
- Additional skills such as JavaScript testing frameworks, VBA scripting, quantum engineering concepts (nice-to-have), or familiarity with REST API standards will be considered advantageous.
