Data Engineer
$560/day - $720/day

Experis is hiring a Data Engineer to join a large-scale data engineering function supporting high-impact analytics and business operations. You’ll design and ship production-grade ETL pipelines, build data models, and work across cloud and big data environments.
What you’ll do
- Design, build, and deploy new ETL pipelines into production
- Identify required datasets, implement logging, and resolve data availability issues
- Build data expertise and apply data controls around privacy, security, and quality
- Develop and launch new data models to support evolving business needs
- Support and optimise existing pipelines running in large-scale environments
- Work across cloud platforms and big data tools to deliver scalable solutions
What you’ll need
- 5+ years’ experience in data engineering or similar
- Strong skills in Python, Scala, SQL, and scripting
- Experience with Databricks, EMR, Hadoop, or similar big data platforms
- Hands-on experience with SQL database design and ETL tooling
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong grasp of data modelling, data mining, and segmentation techniques
Nice to have
- Background in large-scale data infrastructure
- Experience monitoring, debugging, and optimising distributed pipelines
