Title: Data Analyst
Location Requirements: Remote
Duration: 7 months (it may extend based on budget and candidate performance)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week; No overtime
Pay Rate Range: $35 to $42/hr
Key Projects & Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards for planning, scheduling, and labor tracking
- Build and maintain Python and SQL scripts for automation and data processing
- Integrate data from Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse) and related Azure services
- Partner with PMs, engineering, and UX to convert requirements into analytics solutions
- Support data governance, metadata standards, and data quality initiatives
- Contribute to planning workflows and support synchronization with tools like Primavera P6 (bonus)
- Explore opportunities using Power Apps and agentic AI concepts to automate workflows
- Stay current with emerging technology trends (AI, automation, Fabric ecosystem)
Candidate Requirements
Disqualifiers
- Lack of Power BI or Python or SQL skills
- Only academic/entry-level Power BI experience (must have 3–4+ years professional experience)
- Less than 18 months remaining on Microsoft access
- Failure to complete the Power BI assessment
- Time zone inflexibility
Best vs. Average Candidate
Strong Plus Skills
- Experience in data center construction planning or commissioning
- Knowledge of Primavera P6
- Experience with Power Apps
- Exposure to machine learning, anomaly detection, causal inference
- Experience with agentic AI and intelligent agent design
- Familiarity with data governance and metadata management
- Technical expertise in Power BI + Azure data services + planning/scheduling best practices
- Background supporting construction or supply chain planning teams
Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years in data analytics, reporting, or data engineering
- Strong proficiency in Power BI (data modelling, DAX, optimization)
- Hands-on programming in Python and SQL
- Experience with Azure tools:
- Data Factory
- Synapse
- Fabric / OneLake
- Understanding of planning & scheduling concepts (PMP is a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
