Role: DevOps Engineer
Overview
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and help build, scale, and maintain highly reliable systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, automation, containerization, and monitoring. You will collaborate closely with engineering, QA, and product teams to streamline the software delivery lifecycle and ensure system stability, performance, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, integration, and deployment.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Build scalable and highly available systems using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Implement containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root-cause analysis.
- Automate operational processes to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
- Ensure system security through proper access control, patching, and compliance.
- Collaborate with development teams to design architectures that support high velocity and reliability.
- Maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
- Support on-call rotation and incident response when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role.
- Strong expertise with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.).
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm).
- Strong scripting or programming skills (Bash, Python, Go, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Solid understanding of networking, Linux administration, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with agile development practices and DevOps methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA/CKAD, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
- Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd).
- Background in microservices architecture.
- Experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, FluxCD).
- Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $108,000.00 per year
