Lead Data Analyst ROLE We need an experienced Lead Data Analyst at the United States Secret Service (USSS) Asset Forfeiture Branch (AFB). The AFB is responsible for maintaining accurate records of seized assets, ensuring timely public notice and advertising of forfeitures, and supporting lawful asset disposition. In this role, you will lead the Data Analyst team and be responsible for entering, validating, and managing forfeiture-related data in the USSS database. You will prepare seizure notices, monitor deadlines, draft claim correspondence, ensure completeness of seizure files, and reconcile inconsistencies in case data. You will also oversee team performance, train new analysts, and submit recurring status reports. This is a full-time opportunity. Oversee the team of Data Analysts
Review tasks assigned to Data Analysts for quality assurance and ensure timely submission of deliverables to the Government
Ensure that all seizure data is timely and accurately loaded
Ensure that all seizures are advertised and noticed within 60 days of seizure
Ensure that all petition and claim receipt letters are timely drafted, submitted, and mailed
Ensure that all proclamations are timely submitted to the Government for review
Ensure that all seizure files are timely submitted for closure to the Government
Submit the weekly advertisement to forfeiture.gov
Responsible for training new hires
Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual status reports
Input, extract, retrieve, and run reports in the asset tracking system (Fastrak)
Prepare advertising orders and seizure notice letters once the Probable Cause Statement is approved by OCC
Track all letters/documents sent via commercial carrier
Prepare petition receipt letters, investigation memos, and claim letters
Ensure all interested parties were properly noticed and ads were posted to forfeiture.gov
Create and send miscellaneous letters using Government templates
Reconcile inconsistencies in data entered by contractor personnel
Maintain and organize both physical and electronic seizure files
Analyze and interpret documentation in seizure files to ensure data is entered correctly
Report errors or inconsistencies in files or data to the Government
Review seizure files prior to closing for completeness and accuracy
Other duties as mission needed and within the scope of this contract
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Two (2) years of directly related asset forfeiture experience
