The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Data Engineer to join our team on a W2-only basis. This role requires an experienced professional who can design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems that support data analytics and business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, experience with big data technologies, and a passion for solving complex data challenges.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust data pipelines to ingest and process large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Optimize and monitor data workflows to ensure timely and efficient data processing.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and provide reliable data solutions.
• Manage and maintain data infrastructure, ensuring data quality and security protocols are met.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and best practices to continually improve our data engineering processes.

Desired Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with big data frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for data solutions.
