Job Title: ERP Business Analyst 3
Location: Hybrid – 200 Lee Drive, Baytown, Texas 77520 (On-Site and Telework)
Duration: 06/02/2025 to 06/02/2026 (Part-time, max 20 hours total)

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced ERP Business Analyst 3 to lead the requirements gathering and business analysis for the implementation of a new enterprise-wide cloud ERP solution. The selected candidate will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders across the college to develop clear, comprehensive specifications that support the transition from the existing PeopleSoft environment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed needs assessments with various departments to capture business processes and technical requirements.
Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for a new cloud-based ERP system.
Facilitate and document workshops, interviews, and meetings with stakeholders across the institution.
Provide strategic recommendations for ERP implementation based on industry best practices and institutional needs.
Assist in evaluating ERP vendors and solutions based on defined criteria.
Serve as a liaison between functional departments and technical teams.
Support change management and communication efforts during the transition.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in business analysis, including developing specifications and needs from a large, multi-departmental organization.
Deep understanding of ERP systems and implementation processes.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience delivering cloud-based ERP solutions in an educational environment.
Familiarity with Texas state policies and procedures regarding procurement and IT implementation.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.65 - $65.02 per hour
