Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

About the Role

We’re seeking a Data Analyst for a 6-month contract to join our team in Washington, DC. If you love working with data and enjoy turning complex information into easy-to-understand insights, this could be the perfect role for you. As a Data Analyst, you’ll help us make smarter decisions by analyzing data, creating reports, and identifying trends.

You’ll work onsite at our Washington, DC office 3 days a week and have the option to work remotely for the other 2 days.

What You’ll Do

Analyze data: Look at large data sets, find patterns, and help us understand what the data is telling us.
Build reports: Create reports and dashboards that show how things are going and where we can improve.
Work with databases: Help build and maintain systems that organize and store data in the best way possible.
Collaborate: Work with team members and management to understand what data is needed to make decisions.
Improve processes: Find ways to make our data and reporting more efficient and accurate.
Use statistics: Apply statistical methods to interpret data and help us make data-driven decisions.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: 3-5 years working with data, preferably as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
Skills: Comfortable with SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (like Power BI or Tableau).
Data Skills: Familiar with statistical methods like regression and causal inference.
Attention to Detail: You can find trends and patterns in data and ensure everything is accurate.
Problem Solving: You’ll spot areas where we can improve and suggest changes.
Clear Communication: You can explain complex data in simple terms to different teams.
Onsite Work: Willing to work onsite in Washington, DC 3 days a week.

Nice to Have

Experience with data management and database systems.
Project management experience is a plus!
