Triple Helix Corporation is searching for a highly motivated and passionate application developer with huge potential to design and implement web applications across a wide range of industries. This position allows you to work remotely with limited travel required.

We are looking for experienced PHP application developers with experience in Laravel and some with Vue 3.

Responsibilities:

Develop web-based applications using Laravel framework (version 10 or later, with some legacy maintenance of versions 6.x and later).
Implement database migrations, adhere to Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural standards, write SQL queries, and utilize the Eloquent ORM
Leverage Vue.js with the Inertia.js framework as well as Livewire
Create and maintain documentation (inside source code and external documents) using best industry standards and practices
Occasionally develop and support websites using the Wordpress framework, including custom plugin development and modification to existing plugins
Write clean, well designed, reusable code following KISS and DRY principles
Work from specifications to build out complete web portals with database back-ends
Troubleshoot, test, and maintain web applications and for multiple browsers and multiple devices
Collaborate using internal and client-facing online tools on a daily basis
Design and build unit tests, and review and refactor legacy code as needed
Communicate project status updates with clients and team members

Required Skills:

Minimum 5 years of proven experience and knowledge in PHP MVC development, working within the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack
Experience in both Windows and Linux platforms, able to develop and deploy to and from these environments
Minimum 5 years of interface development and design experience, with expertise in current web standard including Tailwind, JavaScript (preference for VueJS), AJAX, and others
Proficiency in Git for version control, merging code, managing branches and releases
Mastery of the Laravel MVC framework, including Livewire and Vue 3
Experience with VueJS (Vue 3 Composition API Preferred) Alpine JS, and Inertia
Experience withy MySQL (including MariaDB), SQLite, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL (at least one
Demonstrate creativity, innovation, and ability to think outside the box
Strong communication and time management skills, working within a team environment
Strong learning aptitude and willing to learn new technologies

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related technical field)
Experience with Bootstrap, Bulma, or UIKit
5 years of proven experience and knowledge of Wordpress development
Experience with mobile app development frameworks like Ionic, React Native, or Flutter
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Linux administration experience, including Apache, Nginx, and related tools
Database administration skills for MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud tools (e.g., Photoshop)
Experience with Connectwise Manage for ticketing/project management
