About The Role

We are looking for a data-savvy, insights-driven Decision Scientistto join our growing Data & Analytics practice. In this role, you will be a member of the client delivery team working closely with clients from Marketing and Analytics, as well as the Concord delivery team of project leads, analytics, engineers, and data scientists. This is a client-facing consultant role with room to grow your career along one of the following tracks: technical data & analytics, account leadership, and/or management.

The ideal candidate combines deep analytical expertise, business acumen, and a passion for storytelling with data. You’ll work across a range of marketing channels, customer segments, and lifecycle stages to generate insights, build predictive models, and influence strategy. You will support clients through descriptive, prescriptive, and predictive stages.

Knowledge of digital measurement, digital marketing, personalization, CDPs, user experience, analytics, and a strong focus on project management is needed to be successful. A broad understanding of SQL or Python will be required for the role.

What You Will Be Doing

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.
Partner with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to define use cases and translate requirements into technical solutions.
Optimize workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and feature engineering.
Collaborate with cloud architects to design cost-effective, high-performance data solutions.
Understanding of marketing analytics – how CDPs are used for personalization.

What We Are Looking For

3+ years in the Data & Analytics space, preferably with consulting experience.
Solid ability to translate between business needs and advanced analytic techniques. Our clients may be from Marketing, IT, or Analytics.
Strong understanding of SQL & Python
Strong communication skills, verbal and written, and enjoys talking shop with others. Comfortable with both technically oriented and business-oriented audiences.
Ability to problem-solve in a dynamic, changing environment. Ability to gather requirements and generate Data Science & Engineering tickets as needed.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing responsibilities while delivering quality outcomes.
Track record of proactive, value-added contributions to internal and client teams.
Collaborating with high-performing cross-functional teams
A love for data, and sound belief in its possibilities.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, or a degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Technical Knowledge & Skills

Must Haves: SQL (strong enough to design solutions, collaborate with Intuit data architects and engineers, identify and communicate concerns about solutions not adequately addressing the marketing use case), Github, Jira, Databricks, AWS (S3 minimum, Redshift & EMR Serverless nice to have), and Snowflake.
Nice to Haves: ADAPT testing, Jenkins, Monday.com, LucidChart, QuickETL, Apache Atlas, SnapLogic.

Additional Information

Employment type: Long-term full-time role.
The salary for this role ranges from $75,000 to $120,000 and will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
Location: Prefer candidates located in San Diego, Minneapolis, or Kansas City. Occasionally, visiting the offices in Minneapolis or Kansas City might be required.
Requirements: must be authorized to work legally in the US without sponsorship, now or in the future.
