PPS Solutions is a fractional CFO firm specializing in diligence and Quality of Earnings reporting for small-to-medium acquisitions. We help business owners and investors uncover the true financial story behind deals through data-driven, practical analysis.

We’re looking for a Diligence Analyst to join our growing team. This role is remote and will begin as part-time, with the opportunity to move into full-time as our business expands. You’ll dig into client financial and operational data (sometimes messy!) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and help prepare clear, actionable diligence reports for real-world transactions.

What you’ll do:

Analyze and clean financial/operational data for small-to-mid sized acquisitions.
Identify trends, risks, and normalization adjustments.
Build earnings and cash flow models to understand the mechanics behind small and medium-sized acquisitions.
Contribute to clear, concise diligence reports including Quality of Earnings reports that are usable for non-technical audiences.
Partner with senior CFOs on client-facing projects.

What we’re looking for:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
1–3 years in finance, FP&A, consulting, or transaction services.
Strong Excel skills (Experience with SQL, Power BI or other data management tools is a plus).
Comfort working with incomplete or inconsistent data sets. Ability to see patterns in chaos.
Strong problem-solver with an investigative mindset.
Clear communicator with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
