Job Summary and Qualifications

The RN Quality Analyst acts as a consultant to other departments in order to achieve transformation and sustainable change in patient outcomes based on best practice. This position acts as a liaison for leading the hospitals performance improvement initiatives.

What qualifications you will need:

Graduate of accredited school of nursing required; B.S.N. preferred.
Minimum (3) years acute care experience required
Current Texas or compact state licensure with State Board of Nurse Examiners.
Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice, Clinical Outcomes reporting, i.e. TJC /CMS standards, and AHRQ patient safety initiatives.
Ability to collect, interprets, and analyzes data.
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Office.
Ability to apply critical thinking skills for process improvement and decision making.
Ability to interact as a speaker with good presentation skills.
