Position Overview:

We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to join our growing team. This is a critical role where you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing key features for our core platform. You'll work across the entire stack, from crafting intuitive user interfaces with Razor Pages to building robust backend services with C#/.NET and leveraging Azure cloud infrastructure. A key aspect of this role involves contributing significantly to the architectural vision and technical direction of our platform. We need someone excited by difficult problems and motivated to build high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality, scalable full-stack web applications using C#, .NET (latest frameworks), and Razor Pages.
Build and maintain robust backend services, APIs, and data access layers.
Integrate with third-party systems and internal services via APIs, handling both JSON and XML data formats effectively.
Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure services (e.g., App Services, Functions, SQL Database, Service Bus).
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Play a key role in defining and evolving the application architecture, promoting best practices, and ensuring code quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
Actively participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Mentor junior team members (as the team grows).
Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to business challenges.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience (7+ years) as a Full Stack Developer, with significant hands-on experience in both front-end and back-end development.
Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework.
Solid experience building web applications with Razor Pages.
Demonstrable experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs, including handling JSON and XML payloads.
Experience developing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.
Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and ORMs (e.g., Entity Framework).
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent problem-solving skills and a genuine enthusiasm for tackling challenging technical problems.
High energy, self-motivated, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work in a hybrid model, collaborating both remotely and in our Albany office as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns.
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker).
Familiarity with additional Azure services (e.g., Cosmos DB, API Management, Event Grid).
Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, Jest).
Experience working in a startup or high-growth technology environment.
