Are you a data-savvy professional with deep experience in Finance and Capital Markets? We’re seeking a skilled Business Analyst / Data Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract and help bridge the gap between business and data in complex financial environments.

🚀 Role Overview

You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, domain SMEs, and engineering teams to deliver data-driven solutions across domains like trading, risk, compliance, asset management, and regulatory reporting. A strong understanding of data engineering, modernization, and cloud data platforms is key to success in this role.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and define data solutions
Analyze structured/unstructured financial data, document KPIs and business rules
Partner with data engineering teams on modern architectures (ETL/ELT, data lakes)
Support cloud migrations and data platform modernization (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks)
Ensure data quality, governance, and regulatory compliance

🎯 Requirements

✅ 8–12 years in Business/Data Analyst roles

✅ 5+ years in Finance & Capital Markets (e.g., trading, investment banking, asset mgmt, risk, compliance)

✅ 4+ years in data engineering / data modernization

✅ Proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)

✅ Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks

✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

Certifications: CFA, FRM, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks
Prior consulting experience in financial services
Degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
