ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, and maintain Workday Prism data pipelines, ensuring accurate and efficient integration of internal and external data sources.
Partner with HR, Finance, and Operations to build custom Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics that support decision-making.
Leverage Workday Extend to create scalable applications that extend Workday functionality.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into data models, reports, and visualization solutions within Workday and external BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support Workday reporting, Prism transformations, and cross-platform integrations.
Support Workday’s semi-annual major release cycles, including:
- Reviewing release notes,
- Conducting impact analysis,
- Participating in testing, validation, and adoption of new functionality.
Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices within Workday Prism and reporting solutions.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate ETL processes, data integrity, and ongoing system performance.
Provide technical support for troubleshooting Workday reports, dashboards, and data pipelines.
Promotes the image and reputation of the System by exhibiting servant leadership and providing direct and open lines of communication.
Contributes to the work of committees, workgroups, project management, and other collaborative efforts of the System.
Performs other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the System.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
2+ years’ experience in SQL development, database design, and data engineering.
Proven experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, Snowflake) and data pipelines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions.
(Preferred) Experience with Workday Prism Analytics, Workday Extend, or Workday report writing.
(Preferred) Exposure to HRIS or financial systems and experience supporting enterprise application upgrades or releases.
