As a Data Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in shaping our data architecture and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our data is structured, integrated, and accessible for analytics, reporting, and machine learning.

What You’ll Do

Design and implement enterprise data architecture strategies and frameworks.
Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Define and support data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time processing.
Optimize data models and databases for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with business leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Provide SAP report expertise and guide users on data access.
Write complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
Stay current with trends in data management, Power BI, and cloud technologies.
Support safety, environmental, and quality assurance initiatives.

Requirements

5–10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, and SAP environments. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. Expertise in SQL, Python, Snowflake, ETL/ELT tools, and Azure cloud services. Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data security. Experience with Power BI, Azure Purview, and SAP S/4 (preferred). Occasional travel between Sidney, OH and Nashville, TN.

Work Environment

This role operates on a hybrid work model, offering flexibility with remote and in-office work. Our in-office environment is professional and collaborative, while remote employees are expected to maintain a dedicated and productive home office setup.
