As an Associate Data Engineer…

You will serve as a critical “enabler” of technology for the purpose of improving business processes throughout the company’s operations. This role will collaborate with both non-technical and technical departments in the interest of providing greater efficiencies and quality of services both internally and externally.

Job Location: Calabasas, CA (In-Office)

What You’ll Do

Design, develop, document, and maintain automation applications to increase accuracy and efficiency
Create and deliver reporting, analysis, and insights related to automation performance
Collaborate with both non-technical and technical departments in the interest of providing greater efficiencies and quality of services both internally and externally
Understand business processes to effectively develop and communicate new solutions as well as identifying gaps or redundancies which may include using new technologies
Review, validate, update, and add rules as needed to achieve automation with the lowest error rate possible
Communicate effectively and learn and document business processes to present new solutions which may include using new technologies
Understand how data flows through a business process and be able to spot gaps or redundancies
Write up documentation that makes sense to both non-technical and technical audiences
Write or modifying SQL scripts for reporting or analytic needs
Provide technical support for business applications or reporting
Other duties and/or projects as assigned

How You’ll Stand Out

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other technical area
Detailed understanding and prior experience in programming (Python, C#, Java, etc.)
Coursework, certification and/or prior experience in SQL (able to write and modify queries)
Critical thinking and analysis
Experience with reporting tools
Coursework or certification in SQL with basic understanding of SQL (able to write and modify queries)
Ability to write and verbally express ideas clearly
Ability to learn new technical skills independently
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook, including advanced knowledge of Excel

Base Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
