Job Overview:

Join a dynamic team contributing to every stage development, from concept to sustainment. As a Senior Systems Engineer on the Modeling, Simulation, and Training Tools (MST) team, you will develop detailed engineering models enabling simulation and analysis for my client and other global partners. Your work will include system-level simulations, SIL/HIL testing platforms, multi-agent and large-scale transportation simulations, engineering software tools, statistical analysis, and virtual training systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop physics-based attraction models using in-house engineering tools.
Maintain and enhance simulation applications, drivers, and control system interfaces.
Support analysis, review, and validation of new engineering tools.
Develop and present optimized attraction design options.
Participate in design reviews of attraction modifications.
Apply standard engineering techniques, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with other Creative and Industrial Engineering teams to incorporate requirements.
Contribute to proposal writing, including scope, validation, and validation plans.
Verify ride performance against simulation predictions.
Support global teams in dynamic analysis techniques and tool/platform selection.
Develop and support engineering software tools and workflows.

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in entertainment or engineering industries.
Proficiency in object-oriented programming (C++, C# preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn new technologies.
Experience leading technical projects, mentoring, and team coordination.
Hands-on experience with engineering software and development environments (e.g., Visual Studio).
Experience with PLC hardware, programming, troubleshooting.
Knowledge of dynamics systems and statistical modeling.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, sprints, retrospectives).
Experience with source control tools (GitLab, GitHub).
Strong background in physics, mathematics, and physical modeling.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited program.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in entertainment industry systems, ride control, and troubleshooting PLC hardware.
Familiarity with Systems Engineering concepts and tools (SysML, IDEF0).
Experience with third-party analysis software (MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, SolidWorks, ANSYS).
Experience developing in game engines (Unity3D, Unreal).
Postgraduate engineering degree.

Additional Information

Candidates must be local to Orlando and able to commute onsite.
Hiring process includes two rounds: initial screening via Teams and a final onsite panel interview.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour
