Summary

As part of our mission to remain at the forefront of digital solutions, we are looking for a Software Engineer who is passionate about building, improving, and securing web applications and services. We are hiring a Software Engineer to join our growing internal team. This role will focus on maintaining scalable internal projects, managing backend systems, and contributing to the development of new products and tools. The right candidate will have ownership over projects from design to deployment and play a major role in strengthening our infrastructure and capabilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, Laravel v10, JavaScript, and related technologies.
Build and enhance internal and client-facing front-ends using Bootstrap, JQuery, or similar frameworks.
Manage server environments and deployments (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP - LAMP stack).
Administer AWS services and ensure reliable cloud deployments.
Integrate third-party APIs including SendGrid and future services.
Manage cron jobs and background task automation.
Maintain version control processes with Git.
Ensure uptime, performance, and security across systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements

3+ years in software development roles.
Strong command of PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, and CSS.
LAMP stack and AWS experience (EC2, RDS, CloudWatch).
Git version control experience.
API integration skills.
Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated.

Preferred:

Experience with Docker or containerized environments.
Automated testing experience.
Familiarity with SMS sending systems (SignalWire, Twilio, Telnyx).
Knowledge of compliance practices within SMS marketing.
