About the Role:
Arch Systems is seeking a skilled Data Migration & Integration Engineer with expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse, and Azure SQL to support a Federal client (NOAA). The ideal candidate will have experience in migrating data from legacy systems, building data pipelines, and implementing API integrations to support a scalable and efficient Customer Data Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute end-to-end data migration projects from legacy AMS (Agency Management Systems) to modern platforms.
- Design and implement bi-directional synchronization tools between Microsoft Dataverse and external systems.
- Develop, manage, and optimize data pipelines using Azure SQL, Power Query, and Microsoft Power Platform tools.
- Ensure seamless API integrations for real-time and batch data exchanges across systems.
- Apply Common Data Model (CDM) standards to align and structure data for enterprise-wide accessibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data mapping, transformation, and validation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, migration, and performance.
- Maintain and document technical processes, standards, and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in data migration, integration, and platform engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dataverse, Power Query, Power Platform, and API integration.
- Proficient in Azure SQL Database and pipeline management.
- Strong understanding of Common Data Model (CDM) concepts.
- Experience in working with legacy system data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Ability to build scalable, secure, and maintainable data integration solutions.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- DoDM 8140.03 Qualified or eligibility to obtain the qualification (preferred).
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
