Position Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly capable Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Analyst 3 to play a key role in the early planning and procurement phase of a comprehensive, campus-wide ERP system modernization effort. This role is essential in laying the groundwork for replacing our legacy PeopleSoft system with a next-generation, cloud-based ERP solution that will integrate and streamline key operations, including finance, procurement, payments, student engagement, and more.

Primary Responsibilities:

Serve as the lead business analyst supporting the assessment, planning, and procurement of a new cloud ERP solution.
Perform in-depth analysis of existing business processes and systems across multiple departments.
Engage stakeholders to gather, define, and validate both functional and technical requirements.
Review and evaluate the current PeopleSoft system to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for modernization.
Assist in the preparation of procurement documentation such as RFPs and vendor evaluations.
Contribute to change management strategy, process reengineering, and stakeholder communications.
Collaborate closely with IT, finance, student services, and procurement departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Produce clear and comprehensive documentation; deliver status updates and findings to leadership.
Stay up to date with industry best practices and advancements in ERP technology, particularly cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud, Workday, SAP).
Provide expertise in cloud ERP implementations in higher education or public sector settings.
Demonstrate familiarity with procurement, finance, and student information systems.
Facilitate the development of business requirements from a wide variety of departmental stakeholders.
