Job Overview:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced UX Engineering Manager to join our team. As the UX Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers to develop and maintain the User Experience for our product utilizing both traditional GUI and AI technologies. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, powerful solutions for Networking Administration.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of GUI engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support
- Oversee the entire GUI development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Develop and implement software engineering best practices and processes
- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet customer requirements
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and drive continuous improvement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software engineering
Our ideal candidate will be:
- A strong leader with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Possess an understanding of Layer-2 and Layer-3 networking
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript plus experience with other languages
- Experienced with balancing 3rd-party and proprietary solutions
- Experienced with React components
- Familiar with AI integration into UX
- Familiar with server-side and client-side web architectures
- Familiar with distributed computing approaches and pitfalls
- Possess excellent UX design skills
- An excellent oral and written communicator
