A fully remote Data Scientist with a strong understanding of digital marketing.
The primary goal of this role is to help us leverage our client data to create compelling case studies and marketing materials that will resonate with the mid-cap market. This individual will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from various digital marketing platforms to extract actionable insights about our clients' successes.
Here's a breakdown of the key responsibilities and qualifications we're looking for:
Key Responsibilities:
● Data Collection & Management: Setting up and managing data collection from platforms like Google Analytics, social media analytics tools, CRM, and advertising platforms, ensuring data quality.
● Data Analysis & Interpretation: Using statistical methods and potentially machine learning to identify trends and patterns in client performance data.
● Case Study Development: Identifying key data points and metrics to build strong, data-backed case studies showcasing our impact.
● Marketing Material Enhancement: Providing data-driven insights to inform the creation of presentations, website content, and other marketing materials aimed at the mid-cap market.
● Performance Reporting: Developing dashboards and reports to track KPIs and communicate findings internally.
● Audience Segmentation: Analyzing data to understand and segment the mid-cap market for better targeting.
● Competitive Analysis: Using data to understand competitor performance and identify our strengths.
● Collaboration: Working closely with our marketing, strategy, and client success teams to share insights and ensure data informs our decisions.
Key Qualifications:
- A degree in a quantitative field like Data Science, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, or Marketing Analytics.
- 2+ years of experience in a data science, data analysis, or marketing analysis role, with a solid grasp of digital marketing concepts.
- Strong skills in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Seaborn) or R.
- Experience working with data from digital marketing platforms (Google Analytics, social media ads, etc.).
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills to explain data insights clearly.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with SQL and databases.
- Familiarity with machine learning in a marketing context.
- Experience working with data related to the mid-cap market.
