Position Summary:
The Variable Data Print Programmer (VDPP) uses variable data printing software to produce direct mail marketing pieces to job specifications at Direct Marketing Solutions (DMS).
Essential Functions:

Creates templates for direct marketing mail campaigns using variable data printing software (currently Inspire Designer).

Designs forms and other print materials using data processing, variable data printing, image imposition, and laser imaging.

Collaborates with the Client Services team to receive client approval on production job templates.

Ensures accurate variable printing setups and maintains data quality.

Cultivates an understanding of direct mail (personalization, presorting, campaigns, etc.) and USPS standards.
Additional Responsibilities:

Completes additional assignments and special projects from the Variable Data Processing Supervisor as needed.

Demonstrates behavior consistent with DMS Values and the Code of Conduct.

Learns and adheres to all information technology and data security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.

Learns and adheres to DMS rules and established policies for workplace health and safety.

Adheres to all other DMS policies and procedures.

Completes all required compliance training on time and in good faith.
Requirements:

Associate's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

One to two years' relevant experience

Proficiency in C/C++, GMC Inspire Designer, InDesign, Excel, Word, Paint, and Acrobat

Basic knowledge of direct marketing mail and/or print
Schedule: This is a fully-remote position working on a Monday-Friday PST schedule.
