Data Engineer
Our client is a well-established renewable energy company in New York. As a key contributor, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and infrastructure that support our analytics and operational systems.
Data Engineer responsibilities:
- Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and SQL
- Integrate data from a wide range of sources including internal systems and third-party APIs
- Manage and optimize data storage solutions to support analytics and machine learning use cases
- Monitor data quality and implement systems for data validation, cleaning, and integrity
- Support and enhance existing data infrastructure and contribute to new architecture development
Data Engineer experience:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related role
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL and Excel
- Solid experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect, dbt)
- Hands-on experience integrating with RESTful APIs and external data services
- Familiarity with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery

Salary Range: $150,000 – $170,000 Base Salary
