- Take complete ownership of projects from spec to rollout, including testing and observability
- Collaborate closely with founders, PMs, designers, and engineers on product vision and execution
- Navigate trade-offs between speed, scale, and maintainability in a dynamic environment
- Contribute to backend architecture, infrastructure, and scalable systems design
What Success Looks Like
- Delivering reliable, maintainable, and performant code quickly
- Owning end-to-end responsibility for the features you build
- Making thoughtful product and technical decisions with minimal oversight
- Helping shape a high-performance engineering culture

- 3–8 years of experience as a full stack engineer, ideally with a 70/30 backend/frontend split
- Experience in fast-paced, product-driven environments
- Strong background in Node.js, TypeScript, and building distributed systems
- A proactive, startup mentality with high standards and strong product instincts
- A desire to work in-person with a high-caliber, focused team in San Francisco
Tech Stack
- Languages/Frameworks: TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, React, GraphQL
- Infrastructure: GCP, Kubernetes
