Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Preparation
- Gather, clean, and preprocess large and complex datasets.
- Identify data trends and patterns to inform decision-making.
- Model Development
- Design, develop, and implement predictive and prescriptive models.
- Build machine learning algorithms for classification, regression, clustering, and natural language processing.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business teams, to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
- Present findings to stakeholders using visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python-based frameworks.
- Deployment & Monitoring
- Deploy models into production and ensure their scalability and reliability.
- Monitor model performance and update as necessary.
- Innovation & Research
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data science and artificial intelligence.
- Experiment with emerging tools and techniques to improve existing processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Ph.D. is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in data science or related roles.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Expertise in data wrangling and preprocessing techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
- Strong business acumen and ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Hands-on experience with APIs and data engineering workflows.
