Job Description
We are seeking a Data Analyst with extensive experience in data management, systems integration, and migration to support the implementation of a new Project Management Information System (PDS) using the Kahua PMIS platform. This role involves centralizing project data, enabling advanced analytics, and ensuring strict data security compliance. You will work closely with system architects, technical teams, and third-party vendors to deliver high-quality, accurate, and secure data integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the technical designs, system configuration, data integration, and data migration requirements.
- Review, plan, define, and document data analysis, data mapping, future data and technical design, systems integration, data migration, reporting, and analytics.
- Conduct a full data inventory assessment to identify, collect, and analyze data from various sources within existing project systems using common data analysis tools.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to assess and interpret the quality of the data.
- Create and design data models and provide interpretations of data analysis.
- Perform data cleansing and maintenance of historical data.
- Assist system architects, technical support teams, and third-party vendors in system design, data migration tools, migration execution, governance, and security.
- Prepare for and manage data migration activities; validate migration results
- Establish boundaries of data migration, standardized data and mapping requirements, and data cleansing and metadata augmentation.
- Present findings in presentations, charts, graphs, and reports.
- Assist users in the revision, development, and deployment of new reports and dashboards.
- Provide technical and functional support for enterprise and systems engineers.
- Support end-users and technical teams during UAT, pilot, and go-live phases.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in data management, analysis, and migration.
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and SQL.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with process reengineering, workflow configuration, and systems integration.
- Industry experience in construction or engineering.
- Experience with the Kahua construction management application.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
- Knowledge of SaaS cloud environments, networking, and cybersecurity protocols.
Work Location & Hours
- Hybrid schedule: onsite at designated offices, with remote days from home.
- Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week (excluding unpaid meal break).
