Job Summary
UID is seeking a passionate software engineer to develop enterprise level software in the biotech industry. The main focus will be the design, development, and maintenance of software platforms on the .NET framework. This includes everything from front-end development to back-end database integration.
An ideal candidate would be a proactive self-starter who’s committed to coding high quality scientific applications.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of developing enterprise software using C# / .NET
- Front end development experience using WPF
- Working knowledge of Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and SQL Server
- Experience with Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bonus Points
- Expertise in developing applications that interact with large databases
- TDD experience using MSTest, NUnit, Mock, etc.
- Working knowledge of Angular & Typescript
- Basic understanding of JSON, REST, and Web Frameworks
- Communication with serial interfaces such as UART, RS232, etc.
- C++ experience with microcontrollers such as STM or IoT devices
- Previous work experience in the Research or Veterinary industries
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
Location
Full Time On Site in Kenosha WI. 7-3:30 Monday – Friday

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
