Title: Firmware Engineer – Full-Time Role.

Location: Redmond, MI (Day 1 Onsite)

Job Summary:

Firmware

FreeRTOS
Ethernet
REST (Web)
CAN (preferably CANOpen)
C programming
GNU Make
GCC
Clang
VS Code
Bootloaders & related concepts
Encryption

Hardware

Understanding of electronics & ability to read electrical drawings
Electronics troubleshooting & use of measurement tools (DMM, oscilloscope, power supplies, etc.)
Familiarity with:
Altium Designer
SPICE
MS Office (Excel, Visio, Word)
Autodesk Inventor
Enovia PLM
Git (version control concepts & workflow)

Responsibilities

Firmware

Implement C unit tests
Help develop integration tests
Extensive debugging
Automated testing setups

Hardware

Assist in ensuring hardware design meets product functional requirements and specifications
Plan/design test equipment and/or test software
Perform hardware module testing and verification (parametric, functional, EMC/EMI, environmental, etc.)
Author and maintain Electronic Test Specification documents
