Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modelling. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for extracting insights from complex data sets, developing predictive models, and implementing advanced analytical solutions to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

Analyse large volumes of structured and unstructured data to identify trends and patterns.
Develop and implement machine learning algorithms using tools such as TensorFlow and Spark.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Design and maintain databases, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Utilise programming languages such as Python, R, Java, and C for data manipulation and analysis.
Conduct data mining activities to uncover valuable information that can inform strategic initiatives.
Implement natural language processing techniques to enhance data interpretation capabilities.
Create visualisations and reports to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, big data technologies, and industry trends.

Experience

Proven 2+ Years experience in a Data Scientist role or similar position.
Proficiency in AWS for cloud computing solutions.
Strong knowledge of database design principles and SQL for querying databases.
Familiarity with Hadoop for managing big data frameworks.
Experience with Bash (Unix shell) scripting for automation tasks.
Understanding of SAS for advanced analytics applications.
Demonstrated ability in applying machine learning techniques across various projects.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
