About the Role: We’re looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join the Operations team within the in-house creative agency. This role will focus on transforming operational and project data into actionable insights, with a strong emphasis on Power BI dashboards and executive-level reporting. The ideal candidate will also have a solid understanding of project management workflows and be comfortable collaborating with cross functional teams in a creative environment.

* Data Analytics & Insights
• You’ll gather requirements from stakeholders and translate business needs into interactive reports that drive decision-making.
• Expect to iterate on designs and refine visuals to tell clear data stories
• Perform Data Modeling & Analytics: Develop robust data models and analytical workflows to support reporting and deeper analysis.
• This includes shaping and transforming data (using Power Query, SQL, or Python) to ensure reliable, analyzable datasets.
• You’ll define relationships, calculations, and measures (DAX) that yield accurate insights.
• Partner with Stakeholders: Work directly with clients and team members to understand key business questions and KPIs.

• Design and Build Dashboards: Create and maintain insightful, visually compelling dashboards and reports in Power BI, PowerPoint, and Excel.

• Collaborate with project management and operations teams to understand data needs and improve reporting processes.
• Support resource planning and capacity forecasting using Epicflow, identifying opportunities to create efficiencies in project execution.
• Help standardize reporting and improve visibility into overall project health and team performance.
• Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Support the project management team with data-driven insights and occasional operational assistance.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with project management, creative, and operations teams to align data insights with business goals and inputs on creative execution.
• Collaborate with IT, other business units, and internal teams to coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans for Workfront, Power BI, and Epicflow platforms.
• Act as a bridge between technical data systems and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, marketing operations and/or creative operations.
• Sufficient experience with Power BI and strong data visualization skills.
• Experience with Workfront and Epicflow (or similar project/resource management tools).
• Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word are required.
• Thorough understanding of creative team operations and project management.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication and storytelling abilities.
• An ability to combine technical expertise with business acumen and communication skills to design, develop and communicate solutions to complex business problems is required.
• Ability to remain adaptable and flexible, to work under pressure, and to maintain productivity in fast-paced operational and creative environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present to management.
Preferred:
• Experience in a creative agency or in-house brand/marketing team.
• Understanding of creative and production workflows and timelines.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, marketing or a related field.
• Advanced Power Query, SQL, or Python skills: able to write and optimize complex queries to manipulate and retrieve data from relational databases.
• Experience with Python for data analysis or automation - you can use libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy) to clean, analyze, or augment data, and script repetitive tasks to streamline workflows.
• High proficiency in Excel: adept in advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis in spreadsheets for quick ad-hoc analysis or data modeling when needed.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate or Azure Data Engineer/Analyst certifications
