Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Data Scientist at PipeSense located in Greater Houston. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting daily data analysis and supporting field jobs, performing simulation and statistical modeling, proposing and working on advanced machine learning and signal processing algorithms for implementation. You will work closely with the engineering, software and operations teams to analyze pipeline data and identify potential issues and contribute to the development and improvement of our test monitoring and leak detection systems.
Qualifications
- Strong data science background and skills
- Experience and proficiency in modeling and simulation using statistical and machine learning tools
- Experience and proficiency in advanced signal processing
- Experience in building, implementing and updating deep learning models
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, C++, Java, SQL
- Experience in acoustic signal processing a plus
- Experience in Oil and Gas, especially in Pipeline industry, is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Master’s degree in the field of Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc., plus more than 3 years of working experience is preferable
