This position will play a key role in ensuring the stability and performance of our clinical device and support software and firmware. Primary responsibilities include the design and execution of test strategies, debugging, and verification of software and firmware to meet industry standards and customer expectations. The position will work closely with development, manufacturing, and others to identify and implement software and firmware quality improvements based upon failure analysis. - In collaboration with firmware development staff, develop and execute test plans for device firmware validation within an Agile Project Management framework. Support implementation of automated unit test to enhance efficiency.
- Develop and execute test plans for backend software running on cloud
- Develop and execute test plans for desktop-based Operator Portal
- Electronic health record integration and API testing
* Bachelors Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
* Ability to apply critical thinking and creativity to problem solving
* Understands techniques and tools to test and verify embedded firmware, desktop, and cloud-based applications
* Understands basic concepts of cybersecurity
* Proficiency in C/C++ and Scripting languages such as python.
* Passionate about quality
* Understands API testing, load testing, and unit test automation frameworks
* Basic understanding of AWS cloud architecture
Desired Functional Competencies: List Specifics
* Experience and knowledge of FDA QSR quality system
* Experience with identifying and implementing process and design changes to address quality and reliability issues
* Strong knowledge of computers, computer applications, and electronic instrumentation
* Understanding of basic concepts of EHR
* Understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS)
* Knowledge of version control systems
