Job Title: Data Engineer
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Data Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines while also ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data movement, transformation, and storage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Optimize data workflows to support organizational initiatives surrounding reporting and data integrations.
- Implement and manage data integration solutions across multiple systems and platforms, utilizing unique solutions specific to the problem.
- Work closely with data analysts, software engineers, and business teams to define data requirements and improve data accessibility.
- Oversee data quality across data pipelines, environments, and integrations.
- Ability to analyze business process to understand impact on data modeling and quality.
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Over five years of experience with cloud data warehousing technologies like Snowflake, Databricks, Data Factory, etc.
- Strong scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, or similar).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with data modeling and database design principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Familiarity with job scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of modern data warehouse structures is a plus.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
