We’re partnered with a high-growth, VC-backed AI startup that’s building generative AI and simulation tools used by global organizations to solve some of the most complex challenges on (and off) Earth — from spacecraft navigation to environmental protection and maritime security. They’re now hiring an AI Computer Vision Engineer to sit at the intersection of technical problem-solving and real-world deployment.
You will regularly work on projects with Secret or Top Secret Clearance in this role and therefore, you MUST be a US Citizen for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with customer teams to understand technical problems and deliver tailored computer vision and perception solutions.
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for dynamic, mission-critical use cases.
- Collaborate with internal AI, product, and engineering teams to feed real-world feedback into product development cycles.
- Lead product demos, POCs, and technical deep-dives with stakeholders ranging from engineers to execs.
- Represent the company in industry discussions, events, and technical communities.
Ideal Profile:
- 4+ years in customer-facing engineering roles (forward-deployed, solutions engineer, etc.) with a focus on computer vision and machine learning. (Strong candidates with 2–4 years will also be considered.)
- Proficient in Python and experienced with CV/ML tools such as OpenCV and PyTorch.
- Excellent communicator who can simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to problem-solve, prototype, and deliver under pressure.
- Comfortable working across technical and commercial functions in a startup environment.
Bonus Experience:
- Simulation tools: Unreal Engine, Unity, Blender, or similar.
- Background in DevRel, technical advocacy, or working closely with external stakeholders.
