SUMMARY
Our client, a fast-growing and innovative organization, is expanding its data and analytics team and seeking a Data Scientist to build predictive models, uncover insights, and drive data-informed decisions. This role partners with leadership and cross-functional teams to turn complex datasets into actionable intelligence that supports efficiency and growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions using machine learning, statistics, and advanced analytics.
• Identify business opportunities through data analysis and optimization.
• Build, test, and validate predictive models and algorithms.
• Conduct A/B tests and evaluate model performance.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights.
• Collaborate across teams to deploy and monitor models in production.
• Explore new data sources, tools, and technologies to improve capabilities.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, machine learning, or statistical modeling.
• Skilled in Python, R, MATLAB, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Experience with large datasets and data platforms (Hadoop, SAS, Teradata, etc.).
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Candidates must be based in the Metro Detroit area; sponsorship is not available for this role.
